Cosme Shines in Finale

Former OLGAA ballplayer and long time friend to the organization, Victor Cosme Jr., recently finished up his High School career in stellar fashion.  Although his team lost in 11 innings, in the finals, Victor continued to be a stabilizing force on the mound for his team, his family and for himself.

Having finished the season with an ERA of 0.00 in 31 2/3 innings, over 7 appearances, Victor followed it up with a performance in the finals that was parallel to his season; 6 1/3 of shutout ball, striking out 9 batters and allowing just 4 hits.

Though his team would loose the game in extras, Victor took another step in his maturation process as a pitcher and as a college bound student.  His roots at OLGAA were planted when he was just 8 years old and continued throughout his adolescent years without much fan fare.  But his determination and quiet demeanor were what made him an exceptional kid and now a respected young adult.

He has made tremendous strides in his young baseball career and has made the organization proud of his recent accolades.  His parents should be very proud of the man he has become and will continue to be.  The organization wishes him nothing but the best in his college endeavors and continue to look forward to seeing him around the diamond where it all began.Hotlinkable Free Smiley Face from Free Smileys
