    Frank Iovino, Association president, expressed his appreciation on behalf of the children, member volunteers and executive directors of the association, to Councilman Dominick Recchia. who along with City Council President Gifford Miller, helped secure funding for the fiscal year ending June, 2006.

    The Association would also like to express their appreciation to our state representatives, Assemblyman William Colton, Assemblywoman Adele Cohen and Senator Marty Golden, who have also obtained funding for equipment, for the fiscal year ending April, 2006.

    Mr.Iovino stated that among the upcoming projects planned for 2005/06 is the installation of fence covering at the Gil Hodges Fields, similar to what was installed at The Our Lady of Grace Fields, and the construction of a scorer's/press box at OLG field.

    We are most appreciative for our city, and state representatives, for their continued, and past support.  Without their support, we would not have been able to complete the major renovations to the baseball fields and Gym, that have been completed over the past several years.  They really care about our children and they deserve your future support.

    The Our Lady Of Grace, Gravesend Athletic Association, Gil Hodges Little League, provides youth sports programs, for boys and girls, from the ages of 5 to 18 years old. The programs for baseball, and softball, are conducted during the spring and summer, and basketball during the fall and winter. The association has been in continuous operation since 1955.
