       Chris Ruggiero, Association President, expressed his appreciation on behalf of the children, member volunteers, and executive directors of the association, to our Assemblyman Bill Colton. Assemblyman Colton has helped secure funding for the operation of the association for the fiscal year 2008.

       Mr. Ruggiero stated that the funding would be used towards the purchase of equipment. Assemblyman Colton has been a consistent supporter of the children of this community, for many years. We are most appreciative, especially in these times of fiscal constraints, where every dollar counts.

       The Our Lady of Grace, Gravesend Athletic Association, Gil Hodges Little League, provides youth sports programs, for boys and girls, from the ages of 5 to 18 years old. The programs for baseball, and softball, are conducted during the spring and summer, and basketball during the fall and winter. The association has been in continuous operation since 1955.
